presents a free workshop for K-12 educators

at the

Aquarium of the Pacific

 100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802

TIME: 8:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.

INCLUDING hands-on, inquiry-based, integrative classroom activities correlated with California Content Standards

AND a public lecture, 1:00-2:00 pm: “Will coral reefs be around for our grandchildren to enjoy? Coral reef conservation, monitoring and management” by Dr. Gregor Hodgson, Executive Director, Reef Check Foundation

Parking costs $6.00/car for all attendees at this event. No free parking available.

Bring a lunch or buy lunch in the Aquarium’s cafeteria.

� Participants may receive a stipend of $75 for the full workshop.

�� Participation in this workshop counts toward credit for educators enrolled in the COSEE-West UCLA Extension courses and LAUSD salary point courses.

�� Professional Development Hours credit that satisfies State Credential requirements is available.
