We are only a little over halfway through the year, and our Dive into Science participants have already completed more than 300 dives!
Our cohorts in California are working hard to complete required continuing education courses so they can participate in Reef Check and AAUS Scientific Diver training later this year.
With this experience, each diver is gaining scientific diving skills, ecological knowledge, and hands-on experience that will strengthen community stewardship and support greater Tribal participation in marine science and conservation for years to come.
Check out more details about the program on our website.
