APRIL 22-29, 2006 [Worldwide] CORAL (Coral Reef Alliance) – Annual Dive In Earth Day Celebration

In the past six years, Dive In organizers have held 1,527 marine conservation events in 103 countries and territories around the world, removing trash, educating children and their communities, supporting coral reef protected areas, and much more.
Volunteers from across the world will take action this Earth Day (April 22nd) to protect their local aquatic environment by taking part in Dive In To Earth Day celebrations and remind Earth Day celebrants that the 72 percent of the planet covered by water requires urgent attention. You can become a part of this global movement by organizing exciting Dive In activities that make conservation fun and accessible while having a real impact: beach and underwater clean-ups, educational workshops, fish and reef surveys, mooring buoy installations, among many others.
