@aqualinkorg is now officially partnered with Reef Check! Together, we’re making coral reef monitoring more accessible than ever before.
Aqualink is a free, open-source platform built for ocean lovers and conservationists. Now, you can explore Reef Check’s global coral reef database of over 17,000 surveys, integrated with real-time data from smart buoys, satellites, models, photos, and videos—all in one place.
With just a few clicks, you can:
🔹 View Reef Check data going back to 1997
🔹 Track ocean temperatures and bleaching risks
🔹 Compare reef imagery over time
🔹 Get a live look at reef health around the world

Reef Check is thrilled to announce its partnership with Aqualink, a groundbreaking nonprofit offering an open source tool for people on the front lines of ocean conservation.
Reef Check’s worldwide coral reef database of 16,000+ surveys is now available for viewing on the platform, alongside Aqualink’s data from sensors, models, satellite observations, community member surveys, images, and video to give you an instant view of your ecosystem and real-time reef conditions. With just a few clicks, users can:
🌐 View Reef Check survey data going back to 1997
📍 Access ocean temperature data from satellites or smart buoys
📈 Track heat stress and bleaching events
📷 Compare reef images over time
AND… it’s completely free. Reef Check and Aqualink are making high-tech reef monitoring accessible and collaborative—because ocean conservation should be a team effort.
