A forest of arms |
This close up vision of a Tube Anemone highlights the beautifully intricate nature of our coral reefs, where surprising forms of life, unusual shapes and textures and fascinating relationships abound. On the base of this Tube Anemone, just under the tentacles, a group of shrimps have made a safe home, protected from predators by the stinging tentacles of their host. |

Whales in the Wild |
Swimming this close to a mother humpback whale and her calf is a humbling experience and one I will never forget. We need to protect our reefs to save the multitude of animals that depend on them, both small and large! This is a composite of three images blended together to create a single image representing what the reefs of the world ultimately mean to me. |

Without Color |
The reef is a vast sanctuary of color and life, making it such a beautiful sight to behold. This photograph captures the beauty of the reef despite the absence of vivid colors. It just comes to show that no matter how you look at the reefs around the world, it is just awesome. |
