2008-11-06 Gahan Haskins UNITED STATES All of the problems we are trying to address here are the direct result of world wide human over-population. Everything from over-fishing to climate change is rooted in this. Pass the word, pass the condoms, - we need to slow population growth dramatically, or the reefs and fish will be destroyed.
2008-11-05 Arden Asuncion PHILIPPINES I support you activism. but the part of teh declaration that tells us that we should ask if sseafodd resources is sustainably caught, is quite in vain isnt it? people would just lie that it is sustainably caught. there should be a branch of govt or bureau that investigate if organizations practice business that are beneficial or safe to marine life, and if they do, these orgs should be rewarded with like a certificate or permit. thus customers can be sure if the business is marine friendly or not, by that existence of the permit.
