  OUTREACH VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Are you an ocean lover who wants to actively contribute to the conservation of reefs around the world?

You landed on the right page!

You can commit some of your valuable time to participate as an outreach volunteer at any of the events listed below, and help educate the public about ocean problems and solutions. Only a few hours of your time can help tremendously, and increase your social network by interacting with like-minded individuals!

Steps to get involved:

1. Pick an event for which you would like to volunteer.

2. Contact Reef Check at events@reefcheck.org to sign up for the event and pick your schedule (i.e. morning or afternoon shift).

3. Prior to the event, log in to your Reef Check MyAccount to read the Tabling Guidelines and watch the Reef Check introductory video. Once you are logged in, click on the Outreach Volunteer Program link on the left side of the page. If you don't already have a MyAccount, become a Reef Check Member (free membership) to access the guidelines and video.

4. Attend the event, spread the word about marine conservation, and have a great time while you’re at it!
